Welcome to Villa Bastide (villa code: WV BST), a stunning 3-bedroom villa located in Lurin. Nestled in the lush hills above St. Jean Bay, this villa enjoys incredible views of the valley and the shimmering Caribbean. Inside glamorous décor and elegant furnishings combine to create a French chic atmosphere. Stylish artwork and photography adorn the walls, while pops of color from cushions, light fixtures, and rugs add a healthy dose of life. Fun, elegant, and tranquil, this is an ideal choice for an island vacation on St. Barts. The beaches at Gouverneur and St. Jean are both just a short drive away. High-end shopping and glamorous restaurants are available in the capital Gustavia, 5 minutes by car. A large glass door at Villa Bastide’s entryway lets you glimpse the stunning views before you’ve even stepped inside. At the heart of the villa is a spacious great room, with a living room, dining table, and kitchen. The entire wall opens to the outside, creating a seamless blend of indoor/outdoor spaces. The living room features wrap-around sofas facing a TV, offering a comfortable spot to sink in and relax. From here, you can admire as the planes make their signature landing at the St. Barts airport, or turn on the TV to unwind with your favorite film. Villa Bastide’s modern kitchen features gorgeous, custom-made cabinetry. The latest appliances make cooking here a breeze. Our concierge can even organize grocery pre-stocking or delivery, catered meals, or arrange private chef service for a special occasion. A large island separates the kitchen from the dining table in the center of the great room, with seating for 6 guests. If you’re hosting a dinner party, the outdoor dining table on the covered terrace is the ideal setting, with room for 8 people. The 3 bedrooms at Villa Bastide are comfortable and contemporary, all with enchanting ocean views. Each has an elevated French king-sized bed, ensuite, and a TV with French satellite channels. The master bedroom is at one end of Bastide Villa, accessed from the pool terrace. This room features plush armchairs, an office space, and an ensuite with an outdoor shower. The second bedroom is accessed via the living room, while the third bedroom is on the other side of the house in front of the pool. A generous covered terrace is furnished with a comfortable lounge, ideal for a day with a good book or an afternoon drink. It’s also the best seat in the house for the rosy gold sunset illuminating the valley, St. Jean below, and the offshore islands Île Toc Vers and Île Frégate. At the edge of Bastide Villa’s terrace is the large infinity pool, seemingly overflowing into the valley below. There’s a shallow area for children to play or for sunbathing on the loungers in the water. If you’re craving a day on the sand, Shell Beach at Gustavia is a 5-minute drive away. Gouverneur Beach is 5 minutes away by car to the south, while the beach at St. Jean is an 8 to 10-minute drive to the north.
