There’s a seductive Balinese style to Villa Bayugita, constructed from exotic Java teak and furnished with elegant, custom-made pieces made from African wood. Richly colored fabrics, rattan textures, and tribal patterns add a warm grace to each room, with each space angled towards the spectacular sunset views from this enviable vantage point. With a beautiful location on Pointe Milou, Villa Bayugita enjoys all-day sunshine throughout the year. Within easy driving distance are the beaches of Lorient, St. Jean, and Marigot, while the fabulous shops and restaurants of Gustavia are a 15-minute drive. In true Caribbean fashion, Villa Bayugita enjoys a beautiful open-plan design. Large sliding doors open to the outside terrace, framing those wonderful views, taking in the beguiling coastline of St. Barts as well as the nearby islands. The spacious living and dining area feels like it’s a part of the outdoors, a gorgeous area to relax and gather with family and friends. Stunning pieces of wooden décor and woven light fixtures hanging from above create a tranquil atmosphere, while sofas and reclined lounge chairs provide comfortable spots to kick back and let your worries slip away. Next to the living area is Villa Bayugita’s gourmet kitchen. It’s well-equipped with everything you’ll need and features a stylish outdoor barbecue alcove for island cookouts. The dining table enjoys a beautiful setting, underneath a gazebo-like part of the main house for stunning views alongside your meal. The master bedroom has a four-poster king-size bed, featuring ocean views and romantic netting draped across the bed. A spacious ensuite leads to a beautiful outdoor shower, surrounded by stone and lush ferns. The second bedroom is located on the lower level and benefits from a private terrace. This bedroom has a king-sized bed and an ensuite bathroom with a double vanity and a large shower. A third bedroom is in a separate bungalow next to the kitchen, another space with wonderful ocean views. Waking up each day here is memorable, to say the least. All three bedrooms enjoy air-conditioning, but also come with screens and mosquito netting so you can have the doors open and the island breezes washing through. Blurring the line between indoors and out, spending your days lounging around Villa Bayugita’s wonderful terrace is a great idea. The crystalline infinity pool is located partially in the living room, offering a bit of shade before stretching out towards the views. There are plush loungers as well, ideal spots for sunbathing, reading, or dropping off for a nap by the water.
