Welcome to Villa Bijou (villa code: WV HBV), a charming 2-bedroom villa located in Flamands, St. Barts. This elegant hillside villa enjoys wonderful sea views within minutes of the beach and shopping. In true island fashion, the interiors of Villa Bijou feature a clean design, enhanced with tasteful décor, island artwork, and antique pieces throughout. The warm touches of wood in the furnishings contrast with the all-white design, while woven textures and splashes of warm orange add an elegant island atmosphere to each room. With a wonderful location set back from Flamands Beach, Villa Bijou also immerses you in some of St. Bart’s most spectacular natural landscapes. The pristine sweep of sand is a short 2-minute drive, while the restaurants and shops of Gustavia are around 10 minutes away. Recently renovated, the bright and airy living spaces inside Villa Bijou are tranquil and contemporary. The layout is ideal for two couples traveling together, with a central great room, plenty of outdoor terrace space, and a couple of bedroom bungalows at either end of the home. In the central great room, the spacious living room enjoys vaulted ceilings, comfortable beige sofas, and rattan-style armchairs. The entire space opens to the seafront terrace and pool, making it an ideal spot to relax a day away in the shade, lapping up those wonderful views, the sea breeze, and the sounds of the waves below. Sharing the space with the living room is Villa Bijou’s large kitchen. It has all the appliances you’ll need for preparing meals, from easy and fresh lunches to gourmet dinners in the evening. Our concierge can also arrange everything from in-villa wine tastings to a private meal prepared by one of the island’s top chefs. On one side, the kitchen opens to the pool deck with a beautiful dining area, enjoying wonderful ocean views. It also opens to the inner garden, with a second covered terrace and dining area. The 2 bedrooms at Villa Bijou are at opposite ends of the property, each providing a tranquil space to relax and recharge each evening. The large master bedroom is in a separate bungalow, featuring a plush king-sized bed, a spacious bathroom, and a large dressing area. It also opens to its own partially covered terrace with ocean views. The second bedroom is attached to the main house, although accessed from either terrace. This room has a pair of twin beds that can be configured into a king, an ensuite bathroom, and a private terrace with loungers. The outdoor spaces at Villa Bijou are wonderful and relaxing. The clean design extends out here as well, with lots of sturdy pillars that echo the villas of the Mediterranean. There are several seating areas in sun and shade, ideal for lazy days spent lounging around the villa. The swimming pool can be heated if the temperature drops, while sunbeds lining the water let you sunbathe, read a book, or simply gaze out at the water. Provided yoga mats also offer a different way to relax. Venturing outside of Villa Bijou is also rewarding. Flamands Beach, a few minutes away, is a beautiful crescent of sand, and both Corossol and Anse de Cayes are within easy driving distance. This villa is more suitable for older children.
