Nestled on the hills above Marigot Bay on the north coast of St. Barts, this is a fantastic location for a high-end island vacation. The beach is a short drive down the hill, and St. Jean is a 10-minute drive to the west, with dazzling restaurants and bars to enjoy. Gustavia, the capital, is 15 minutes by car. The clean and contemporary design of the home uses straight lines, natural light, and earthy woods to create a peaceful, Zen-like vibe. The tropical setting is just as big a part as everything else, with the large doors and windows framing views of rugged hills, tropical palms, and the sparkling Caribbean. All roads lead to the great room inside Villa Blackstone, combining the living room, dining area, and kitchen. The living room features a cushioned sofa and a separate chaise lounge, comfortable spots for collapsing in a heap at the end of a long beach day. There’s also a TV for those evenings you’d prefer to stay in with a movie or two. The modern kitchen at Villa Blackstone has a breakfast bar, high-end appliances, and a large counter so the whole group can get involved in preparing meals. Our concierge is also on hand to organize a grocery delivery, or for a special occasion, a private chef. Elegant dinners held at the indoor table are wonderful. There’s seating for up to 12 guests, and the doors open wide to the view, letting you admire the curving bays and coastline of St. Barts while you dine. With 6 bedrooms inside Villa Blackstone, this villa is a fantastic choice for a large family or group of friends traveling together. The first bedroom features a European king-size bed and an ensuite bathroom with both an indoor and outdoor shower. This wheelchair-accessible bedroom is located on the main level next to the kitchen. The large master bedroom is situated in a separate bungalow a half level lower, next to the main deck and pool. This bedroom has a European king-size bed and an ensuite bathroom with both an indoor and outdoor shower. The remaining 4 bedrooms are located on the lowest level below the pool. Three bedrooms are furnished with European king-size beds, while the fourth bedroom has twin beds which can be made into a king bed and connects to a guest bedroom (ideal for parents with children). The bedrooms can be fully separated with double doors. The gorgeous outdoor terrace at Villa Blackstone is a wonderful place for relaxing at the end of your day, with a glass of wine in hand. There are plenty of comfortable outdoor lounges to kick back in, watching yachts bob up and down in the harbor as the sunset casts golden light across the offshore islands. The swimming pool is a tempting prospect, offering an easy way to stay cool on those hot Caribbean days. Island trade winds also work to keep you cool, drifting across the terrace as you sunbathe in the loungers, sipping on a cool drink. During the Thanksgiving and December holidays, the villa rents at full occupancy rates regardless of how many bedrooms are used.
