The interiors of Villa Cairn are understated and elegant. Clean white walls and vaulted ceilings combine to create a space that’s rich in natural light, with high-end furnishings providing the comforts of home. Tasteful Aboriginal artworks on the walls add an earthy touch, ideally suited for the rugged hills in this corner of St. Barts. As part of the private Domaine Du Levant gated community, Villa Cairn enjoys sublime views over the Petit Cul de Sac. Facing to the west, the sunset views are also incredible. The azure waters and soft sands of the beach are 3 minutes away, while shops and restaurants are 10 minutes by car. The large main room with a high ceiling features a living room on one side, a dining room, and a modern open kitchen on the other side. At once sophisticated yet accessible, it’s a graceful spot to spend some relaxed downtime inside. The living room is furnished with modern couches and has satellite TV. The entire main room opens wide to the covered deck, letting you kick back and admire the views with the ocean breeze washing through the home. The high-end kitchen at Villa Cairn is sleek and modern, with a suite of appliances to help make cooking easy. WIMCO’s concierge service can even step in by arranging a private chef to pay a visit to your villa one evening, preparing a gourmet island feast for your family and friends. There’s an indoor dining room with seating for up to 8 guests, and a convivial place to gather over some great food. A second table sits on the covered terrace outside, encouraging long cocktail hours that turn into dinner and more drinks after the incredible sunset. Each air-conditioned bedroom at Villa Cairn has a king-sized bed, an ensuite bathroom with a shower, safe, screens, and U.S. satellite TV. The Aboriginal artworks hanging above each bed give the room a rustic touch, complementing the otherwise all-white décor. Stylish and low-key, these spaces are well-suited to getting a good night’s rest. There are two bedrooms located on either side of the main room. The third guest bedroom is accessed from the terrace, while the fourth bedroom is situated in a separate bungalow. A vast terrace stretches out the full length of Villa Cairn, offering ample shade and seating. A few steps descend to the sundeck, which surrounds the large, solar-heated pool with stairs and an alarm. You could easily spend a whole day here, slipping into the water between sunbathing sessions on the loungers. The outdoor lounge area is the ideal setting for sunset drinks, toasting to your island vacation as the fading afternoon sends hues of red, yellow, and gold across the hills on either side of Petit Cul de Sac.
