The clean and pared-back design keeps your gaze firmly transfixed on the natural beauty around you while high-end furnishings provide every comfort. Situated at the top of Gouverneur, Villa Caro is a short drive away from restaurants, bakeries, and grocery stores. Gouverneur Beach is 3 minutes down the hill. Gustavia, the capital, is also nearby, making this the ideal vacation villa for a St. Barts getaway. The central living area inside Villa Caro is all about functionality and style. The spacious room combines the living room, office, and kitchen, and can either be fully opened to the terrace and pool or closed off and air-conditioned. It’s all about easy living in the Caribbean, the simple luxuries of life. The living room is an idyllic spot to soak up the views and ocean breeze, relaxing on one of the inviting sofas. A flat-screen TV hangs on the wall, but it’s really the ocean panoramas that will draw your gaze. The beautiful wooden paneling in the back of the room discreetly hides the main entrance and sleek office space. Behind the living room is the kitchen, a warm and inviting spot to cook. As part of WIMCO’s Special Reserve Collection, a stay at Villa Caro comes with a private chef included. Also hidden behind the wooden paneling is an auxiliary kitchen where they’ll work most of their magic. Breezy meals can be enjoyed on the covered terrace, directly in front of the living area and kitchen. There are 5 bedrooms inside Villa Caro, each offering a simple yet luxurious space to relax, recharge, and unwind. All are similar in size and have ensuite bathrooms. To the left of the main room is the master suite, which also enjoys a full dressing area and a spacious shower with luxurious side jets. A U.S. king-sized bed is plush and comfortable. There are two guest bedrooms to the right side of the main room, each with his-and-her closets, king-sized beds, and ocean views. The final two bedrooms are at the back of the property, facing the idyllic tropical garden. These two rooms each have a pair of twin beds, that can be configured into a king. The outdoor living spaces at Villa Caro make you feel like you’re on top of the world. The views are breathtaking, with the rolling hills of St. Barts melting into the sparkling Caribbean Sea. Kicking back with a drink to take it all in is a great way to enjoy each evening. Speaking of relaxing, there are several fantastic areas to unwind outside. You could enjoy a meal in the sunken gazebo next to the pool, or host a cocktail hour on the couch in the far corner of the terrace.
