The beach at Marigot is only a 5-minute drive, as is Lorient in the other direction. And just beyond that is St. Jean, with a handful of elegant restaurants and shops to enjoy. Vaulted ceilings above create a spacious feeling of air and light, while delightful views through the windows frame picturesque island scenes. The home is quiet and peaceful, yet also comfortable for those days you’d prefer to lounge around making use of the excellent amenities on show. The main level has a spacious great room with a furnished living area, which opens to a covered terrace with a seating area. It’s a wonderful setting to let the tropical vibes wash over you, with the island breeze flowing in through the window. It’s easy to spend a day here reading a good book, conversing with friends, or simply enjoying the relaxing pace of life. Next to the living room is Villa Florence’s well-equipped kitchen, with elegant granite benchtops. There’s a total of 3 bedrooms at Villa Florence, with red-cedar ceilings and custom furnishings made from exotic woods. The décor is simple and relaxing, ideal for recharging each evening after a day exploring St. Barts. There are two bedrooms on the main level. The first is next to the great room, while the second is inside a separate pavilion on the other side of the swimming pool. The third bedroom is on the lower level, a quiet refuge for those after more privacy. All three rooms come with air-conditioning and screens across the doors, ensuite bathrooms with marble showers and floors, and distant views of the ocean and hills. A covered terrace area outside the great room provides a shady refuge from the sun, with plenty of comfortable seating options. Whether it’s a morning coffee, a day spent reading, or sunset cocktails, this is a wonderful setting to enjoy, The views are terrific, from the verdant green hills to the shimmering sea in the distance.
