Ideally located at Lorient Beach, the town of St. Jean is just 5 minutes away by car. From the villa, you can admire the islands of Île Toc Vers, Île Frégate, and Île Bonhomme. A spacious and airy great room is at the heart of Villa Les Basses, home to the living room, dining table, and kitchen. Sliding doors open to the outdoor terrace and beach, revealing stunning views and inviting in the gentle ocean breeze. A comfortable and modern living room features rattan sofas facing toward a wall-mounted TV, ideal for unwinding. For those who need to get some work done, a small office with a desk and chair is connected to the back of the great room. Next to the living room is Les Basses Villa’s modern kitchen. Gleaming in white with black marble countertops, it’s a sleek and stylish place to cook gourmet meals. Our concierge can even organize grocery pre-stocking or delivery, catered meals, or arrange private chef service for a special occasion. The dining table in the great room has space for up to 6 guests, a magnificent setting for festive dinners. For those who prefer to dine alfresco, there’s another table on the covered terrace outside. From here, you can hear the sound of the ocean and the island breeze rustling through the palms. The 2 bedrooms at Les Basses Villa are on either side of the great room, ensuring peace, quiet, and privacy for guests. The two rooms are completely identical, featuring a plush king-sized bed, dressing room, and an ensuite bathroom with double vanity and a spacious shower. Life in the Caribbean is best spent outdoors at Villa Les Basses. Next to the outdoor dining table is a lounge area, an ideal spot for a sunset cocktail hour. From here, the fading afternoon casts golden light across the sea, islands, and sky. The inviting swimming pool will no doubt tempt you in for a dip. There’s a shallow end and a deep one, letting you either submerge yourself completely or lie about soaking up the sun from the cool water. When it’s time to dry off, loungers scattered across the terrace offer more attractive places to sunbathe. Below the pool deck, a gate leads to a private beach area where guests can sunbathe on a lounge or enjoy lunch with ocean views. From here, you can admire the surfers offshore catching the waves all day. At the shore, a swimming area has been created in the ocean. More beaches are easily accessible from Villa Les Basses. A 5-minute drive to the west brings you to the sand at St. Jean, one of the prettiest beaches on the island, and also home to shops and restaurants. For something more low-key, Marigot Bay Beach is 5-minutes to the east, a quiet spot backed by a tranquil coconut grove. During the Thanksgiving and December holidays, the villa rents at the full occupancy rate regardless of how many bedrooms are used.
