Offering modern and comfortable interiors, Villa Lilas is all about letting your hair down and enjoying the slow pace of life in St. Barts. The effortless style is ideal for relaxing, with a mix of creamy neutrals contrasting against wooden accents and antique maps that adorn the walls. All the while, the dappled island light streams in through the large windows and doors. With a fabulous location only a short drive from the popular Lorient Bay Beach, Villa Lilas also enjoys the best of St. Barts at its doorstep. The views are outstanding, and all the amenities you’d need, from shops to world-class restaurants, are only a short drive away. Villa Lilas is spread over three levels, with an open-plan great room at its heart. From there, outdoor terraces in sun and shade spread out in a cascade across the villa, all of it taking in the views of the shimmering blue ocean. The living room is furnished with large, plush sofas, desks, and a small library of fabulous holiday reads. Doors slide open to the terrace, welcoming in the salty and cool island breeze, washing through the home to keep things nice and cool. Sharing the space with Villa Lilas’ living room is the well-equipped kitchen. This is a social space, designed so the whole group can stay together when preparing a meal. There’s a bar area with stools, the ideal spot for a morning coffee, evening cocktail, or watching a private chef whip up a gourmet meal. The dining area is right outside the kitchen on the covered terrace. The alfresco setting is gorgeous, with a large, built-in grill located nearby for cookouts. A second dining area and teak lounge chairs surround the pool on the mid-level. The 4 bedrooms at Villa Lilas are quiet and minimalist, tranquil places to retreat at the end of each day to unwind. The first master bedroom is on the main floor, accessed from the living room. This room has a classic king-sized bed plus a twin rollaway (with a high-quality mattress, stored underneath the king), making it ideal for parents with young children or several kids who want to share a room. The same bedding situation is found in the second master bedroom on the pool level, facing the parking area. The third bedroom has a queen-sized bed and a fabulous location in front of the pool. The fourth bedroom is in a separate bungalow below the pool level, with a European king-sized bed and views over Lorient Bay. Each bedroom has ample closet space and an ensuite bathroom with a shower. With three levels of living spaces come three levels of outdoor terrace, catering to every need. Right outside the main living area and kitchen is a large, covered terrace, with an alfresco living area that lets you relax in comfort while enjoying the gorgeous weather. Stepping out from underneath the terrace brings you to a sunny seating area, ideal for cocktails at sunset. From here, the views are outstanding, taking in the bay below and the offshore islands. Stairs lead down to the pool level, where you can easily spend a day slipping in and out of the water and sunbathing on the loungers. There’s also a small table here, ideal for casual and fresh lunches in the sunshine. Gorgeous tropical plantings surround the entire villa. During the Thanksgiving and December holidays, the villa rents at the full occupancy rate regardless of how many bedrooms are used.
