Castaway to Villa Polaris (villa code: WV ALB), a gorgeous 2-bedroom villa on the shores of Flamands Beach, St. Barts. This cozy and warm beach cottage pairs all the comforts of home with a spectacular beachfront location, within minutes of restaurants and shops. The effortless design inside Villa Polaris is ideal for relaxing. The flowing open plan welcomes in plenty of natural light, while vaulted ceilings create an airy atmosphere. Sandy-colored walls, rattan textures, and wooden accents all help achieve the feeling of barefoot elegance; a laid-back beach house with all the luxuries and style of St. Barts.  Best of all though is the location of Villa Polaris. On the sandy shores of Flamands Beach, within seconds you could be wading into the crystalline Caribbean waters. Shops are 5 minutes away, and the capital Gustavia is a 10-minute drive. At the heart of Villa Polaris is the cozy, open-plan great room. This air-conditioned space combines the living area and kitchen into one, both of which flow onto the outdoor terrace through the large sliding glass doors. The living room is spacious and comfortable, an ideal spot for relaxing with a morning coffee or settling in for a post-beach snooze. A flat-screen TV also provides some entertainment, while elegant wooden furnishings give the space a rustic touch. The kitchen at Villa Polaris is well equipped with everything you need for preparing meals. It’s also big enough for your whole group to get involved, with a breakfast bar and stools for an evening aperitif while the foodie in your group whips up a gourmet meal. The dining table is outside the sliding doors on the covered terrace. Overlooking the pool towards the beach, it’s a picturesque setting to enjoy some great food during your stay. There’s even a gas grill for those days you’d prefer to entertain with an island-style cookout. The 2 bedrooms inside Villa Polaris continue with the theme of the home: quiet and comfortable, with a luxurious beach house atmosphere. The master suite enjoys a plush king-sized bed and opens to the outdoor terrace where you can lounge by the pool. The second bedroom has a European king-sized bed; both rooms come with air-conditioning and ensuite bathrooms. The beautiful outdoor terrace at Villa Polaris is a charming spot to spend a day lounging around. Palm trees sway in the gentle breeze, while the sounds of the nearby tide create a soothing Caribbean lullaby; this is a true paradise. There’s a private pool for a refreshing dip and loungers for sunbathing. Elevated via a staircase that leads to the beach and with lush ferns at the edge of the terrace, the entire space enjoys plenty of privacy as well. When the open ocean does call, it’s as easy as wandering down the stairs onto the soft, golden sands. The villa is also located adjacent to the refined hotel, Cheval Blanc, one of the most elegant in St. Barts with a fantastic restaurant.  During the December holidays, the villa rents at full occupancy rates regardless of how many bedrooms are used.
