Inside Villa Prana, natural light flows in through the open-plan layout, illuminating a collection of high-end and comfortable furnishings. The home is peaceful and luxurious, with a strong sense of elegance thanks to the tasteful décor. Add in the rugged beauty of the beach outside, and you’ve got a St. Barts villa with a splendid mix of sophistication and simplicity. Perched on the shores of Anse des Cayes, Villa Prana is well suited for long strolls along the shore or lounging on the sand and gazing out at the Caribbean. A short walk away you’ll find the Manapany Hotel, with a range of services on offer, while Gustavia and St. Jean are both a short drive away. Villa Prana is one of two identical villas on the beach. Larger groups could rent it alongside Villa Greenheart (booking code: WV GRN) for a total of 6 bedrooms. The shared living spaces inside Villa Prana are airy and bright. There’s a beautiful, vaulted ceiling in the main room, with the natural wood bringing an island warmth to the whole home. On both sides, doors slide open to the outdoor spaces; the terrace on one side and the inner courtyard on the other. The living area features a large, sectional sofa, a soft and relaxing spot to kick back and enjoy the views. From here, you could gaze out over the terrace, taking in the azure hues of the Caribbean, with the natural breezes washing through and the lapping of the waves creating a sense of calm. A modern kitchen shares the space with the living area, set against one wall. The open layout means that preparing meals here is a social affair, while the high-end appliances can handle any culinary challenge. Behind the sofas is Villa Prana’s dining table, made from weathered wood and with elegant rattan-style chairs. There’s also a table on the terrace outside, a picturesque setting for a late afternoon drink or a long dinner. There are 3 bedrooms inside Villa Prana, quiet spaces to reflect and unwind. Two are located directly off the living room, almost identical spaces. One faces the ocean and has a U.S. king-sized bed, while the other faces the other way with a view of the enclosed courtyard. This room has two twin beds that can be made up as a U.S. king-sized bed. The third bedroom is accessed from a stairway that leads from the enclosed courtyard to the basement. This room is similar to the other bedrooms with a U.S. king-sized bed. All three bedrooms have luxurious ensuite bathrooms. The villa is directly on the beach, but offers decent privacy thanks to its higher position, and the “private beach” with a daybed in between the terrace and the natural beach. With a plush daybed here and some loungers, it’s a great place to spend some time lounging by the Caribbean. Back on the terrace, there’s more seating in both sun and shade. An outdoor lounge next to the dining table is a comfortable spot to set up with a good book or a cool drink, while the heated swimming pool is very tempting for a dip.
