Located on a rise in the landscape, from the grounds of La Roche dans l’Eau you can see the curving bay, rugged headland, and the shimmering Caribbean sea. The rock in the middle of the water is what inspired the villa’s name, which translates to “Rock in the Water”. As the afternoon begins to fade, retreating to the lounge area on the covered deck is encouraged. It’s a fabulous spot to enjoy a cocktail with the sunset, watching as the rosy gold colors light up the sea and sky. In the distance, the twinkling lights of St. Kitts coming to life are alluring. Out the back of the house is another terrace area with a garden. A relaxing and quiet area, it’s ideal for settling in with a good book or your morning coffee. For days on the beach, swinging around to the north side of the island to either Petit Cul de Sac or Grand Cul de Sac is an easy 5-minute drive. For something more adventurous, a 25-minute trek along the headland brings you to the “Washing Machine”, several natural rock pools embedded into the coastline. During the December holidays, the villa rents at the full occupancy rate regardless of how many bedrooms are used.
