This elegant home enjoys all the privacy you could want for a discreet island holiday, and will undoubtedly become your home away from home. Expect modern interiors with plenty of tropical charms, from the rattan textures to warm wooden accents that contrast with the cool tiles underfoot. Villa Sakura is all about barefoot, luxurious living in the Caribbean.
With a fabulous location across the street from Hotel Christopher, you’ll get to enjoy its restaurant, pool, and spa right on the waterfront. Lorient Beach is also a short drive away, as are the shops and restaurants in St. Jean. From the upper level, Villa Sakura enjoys glimpses of the sparkling ocean through the swaying palms.
A large stairway leads through the green garden to the main floor of the open-plan villa. The elegant layout flows from space to space, with alfresco areas drawing you outside at every turn.
At the center of the home is Villa Sakura’s great room, with a spacious living area and a high-end kitchen. In the living area, there’s plenty of comfortable seating, as well as a widescreen TV with U.S. satellite channels and Apple TV.
The modern kitchen at Villa Sakura is fully-equipped for preparing meals, tucked off to the side in the great room. The open plan ensures that the conversation continues to flow when it’s time to cook – or if you’d prefer, our concierge is happy to arrange a visit from one of the island’s top chefs to cook for you.
The dining table is in the inner courtyard, just next to the kitchen. Semi-shaded by the wooden rafters above, it’s a space that feels both inside and out at the same time, and a wonderful spot to gather for a meal with family and friends.
There are 4 bedrooms at Villa Sakura, spread over the two levels to make sure that all guests can enjoy privacy.
The two main bedrooms are on either side of the living room, equal in size and both with glimpses of the ocean. European king-sized beds, U.S. satellite channels and Apple TV, and spacious ensuite bathrooms complete these rooms.
On the lower floor are the other two bedrooms, both with views of the lush garden. These rooms are more like suites, the spacious areas filled with an indoor seating area alongside the four-poster European king-sized beds. Both rooms also feature an ensuite bathroom, as well as a small private terrace area outside with seating.
The living room leads to Villa Sakura’s outdoor terrace, where the swimming pool runs straight down the middle towards the edge, creating a separate area on each side. There’s ample seating in both sun and shade, making this an idyllic spot to sunbathe, enjoy a good book, or gather for an evening cocktail.
The lower level also enjoys a large wooden terrace, bordered by a lush garden. There’s seating here as well, quiet and private for those lazy days you’d like a slice of solitude. And when the ocean calls, it’s only a short drive to Lorient Beach, an incredible sweep of soft sand and crystalline water.
