Staying here is an ideal choice for those island travelers looking for a laid-back and stylish home for their St. Barts vacation.  Nestled within the hills of St. Jean, Villa St. Jean Lataniers enjoys a private and quiet location not far from town. It’s a short drive down the hill to reach the beach, boutique shops, and restaurants, while the capital Gustavia is only 10 minutes by car. The villa also enjoys beautiful views of the Caribbean and the surrounding landscapes. Airy and pared-back living spaces inside are designed to help guests relax and feel at ease. There’s a distinctive tropical style to the home and an inviting open-plan great room where you’ll gather with family and friends. Here you’ll find the living room, dining area, and kitchen in one large space, with doors opening to the outdoor terrace. The living room has comfortable sofas with beige and sea-green cushions, an inviting spot to sink in and unwind. A breakfast bar separates the living room from Villa St. Jean Lataniers’ kitchen. Chic white cabinetry and high-end appliances make this space a pleasure to cook in. Our concierge could even organize a grocery delivery, or for a special occasion, a visit from one of the island’s chefs. Next to the kitchen is the beautiful dining room table, made from island wood and with unique bench-style seating. It’s a wonderful setting for meals together as a group after a long day at the beach. The 3 bedrooms at Villa St. Jean Lataniers are peaceful and serene, with soft linens, plush beds, and wonderful views over St. Barts. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed, an ensuite bathroom, and a private terrace with views of the shimmering Caribbean. The second bedroom also features a king-sized bed and shares its bathroom with the third bedroom. This final room has a pair of twin beds, although they can be pushed together to make another king. Simple and comfortable, each bedroom promises a wonderful night’s sleep. Outside, a lush, tropical garden and trees surround the property, which is frequently visited by peacocks. It also provides privacy for lounging around on the outdoor terrace, enjoying the fabulous island weather. There’s a covered terrace with white tiles, featuring an outdoor dining area for meals and a swinging hammock, ideal for reading outside or a nap in the cool breeze. Loungers for sunbathing surround the infinity pool, which has steps for easy access to the refreshing water. For days at the beach, it’s a short drive to the gorgeous shores of St. Jean. This picture-perfect sweep of sand and turquoise water is ideal for swimming in the warm Caribbean water.  During the Thanksgiving and December holidays, the villa rents at the full occupancy rate regardless of how many bedrooms are used.
