Featuring beautiful views over Lorient Bay, this alluring island home enjoys breathtaking sunsets within minutes of several beaches and shopping The interiors of Villa Veronika are simply gorgeous. Dark wooden floors, ceilings, and walls create a cozy and calm atmosphere, like a luxurious jungle treehouse. There are huge and fascinating artworks on the walls, pops of bright color in the décor, and elegant, island furnishings. This is a home with all the elegant mystique of the old world. Nestled in the hills above Lorient Bay, Villa Veronika also enjoys fantastic access to beaches, shops, and restaurants. A short drive downhill the pristine Lorient Beach awaits, while St. Jean is a 5-minute drive. The capital, Gustavia, is 10 minutes away by car. Decorated in a refined Balinese style, the antique furniture was collected from around the world. Airy ceilings and outstanding views around every corner make the inside of Villa Veronika a pleasure to spend time in. The spacious living room, which is furnished with a large sectional sofa, is a wonderful setting to relax and unwind. The space opens onto the pool terrace. With a crisp island breeze and the alluring views over St. Barts, this is an excellent spot to gather with family and friends. At the back of the living area is Villa Veronika’s well-equipped kitchen. There’s a breakfast bar for fresh eggs and coffee in the morning and a range of high-end appliances for preparing meals. Immediately next to the kitchen is Villa Veronika’s indoor dining table, which can seat up to eight guests. A second dining area is located on the covered terrace, offering wonderful views over the shimmering Caribbean and bays of St. Barts. There are 3 bedrooms in Villa Veronika, each with wood-paneling on the ceilings and floor. Calm and blissful spaces, they’re ideal for retreating to at the end of a day by the pool or exploring the island. The master bedroom is next to the living room, featuring a king-sized bed and a lavish ensuite bathroom. Direct access to the outdoor terrace makes it easy to start your day by jumping in the pool or enjoying a coffee while gazing out at the view. A set of stairs leads up from the terrace to the second bedroom, which also features a king-sized bed and ensuite. A private terrace with a cushioned lounger is also great for quiet moments basking in the sun or stargazing. The third bedroom is on the lower level, below the pool. This space has a queen-sized bed and an ensuite, as well as a spacious private terrace area with ocean views. A cascade of terraces over several levels make up the outdoor spaces at Villa Veronika. There’s space in both sun and shade, quiet corners for relaxing, and larger areas to gather with your group and entertain guests. The covered terrace with the dining table also features a built-in outdoor lounge, a great setting for cocktails at sunset. For lazy days spent outside, the swimming pool is ideal, surrounded by comfortable loungers for sunbathing, reading, or dropping off for a nap. From here, the views are incredible. During the December holidays, the villa rents at the full occupancy rate regardless of how many bedrooms are used. This villa does not allow pets, and requires a security deposit of $3,000.
