Designed in a traditional colonial style, Villa Art enjoys an artfully-style interior. Expect a mix of antique and contemporary furnishings, vaulted ceilings with recessed lighting, and original artworks adorning the wall. Wooden accents enhance the earthy, island vibe, and all the creature comforts of home make this a great choice for a tropical getaway. Villa Art is located above the beach at Flamands, putting you within easy distance of the island’s amenities. Flamands Beach itself is a great spot to try your hand at surfing, while nearby beaches at Anse de Cayes, St. Jean, and Lorient are great for swimming. Gustavia is a 10-minute drive, with shops and world-class restaurants to enjoy. Villa Art is spread over two levels, with the upper-level home to the spacious great room. Here you’ll find the beautiful living area and kitchen, with a wrap-around terrace offering incredible ocean views. The light and airy living room has cozy seating for relaxing, cool stone floors underfoot, and large windows that frame the views. It’s a fantastic place to gather with your family and friends to enjoy good conversations or a movie on the TV. The living room opens to Villa Art’s well-equipped kitchen, where you’ll be able to whip up fragrant Caribbean meals with ease. Our concierge is also happy to arrange anything from grocery delivery to a private chef for an evening – all you need to do is ask. From the great room, doors open to the covered terrace, where the dining table sits and enjoys lush views over the hills of Flamands Bay. Shaded with a vaulted gazebo, it’s a great spot for meals with the island breezes washing through and keeping things nice and cool. A nearby bar is also a unique feature, offering a spot to enjoy a pre-dinner aperitif. Descending to the lower level brings you to Villa Art’s 3 bedrooms. Simple, pared-back furnishings and comfortable bedding make these spots fantastic for relaxing at the end of a day lounging by the pool or swimming in the Caribbean. The master bedroom opens to the pool terrace and features either a king-sized bed or a pair of twins. The room also comes with blackout curtains, a ceiling fan, and an ensuite bathroom. The other two bedrooms also come with either a king-sized bed or a pair of twins. These rooms share a hallway bathroom with double vanities. The expansive pool terrace is a luxurious spot to relax during the day, soaking up the island sun. The 300-sq.ft. swimming pool is refreshing and cool, with loungers nearby that are ideal for sunbathing or reading poolside. A garden of trees and palms provides peerless privacy. Back upstairs, the covered terrace is where you can take in the views of Flamands Bay and the offshore islands.
